Keeping Us Safe

Working with you in person, here are some of the measures I have put in place to help protect your health and wellbeing.

• I am following guidelines issued by the government, NHS and my professional association, the Federation of Holistic Therapists, regarding safe and hygienic practice and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• I have carried out a full risk assessment of my business to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus (COVID-19).

• I have completed a certified infection control course and introduced enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures.

• I will be closely monitoring my own health, and that of my clients, to ensure neither party is put at risk of contracting COVID-19.

If you have any questions or you would like to discuss anything with me, please do not hesitate to get in touch. It is important that you feel comfortable working with me and free to ask me anything.

Q. Do you require my GP’s permission if I have had COVID-19?

Yes, if you received medical treatment for COVID-19, you will be asked to obtain written or verbal permission for treatment from your GP, consultant or health care practitioner.

Q. Will in-person treatments be modified in any way?

Yes, and in line with the government’s guidance for keeping workers and clients safe in close contact services, time in clinic will typically be 60 to 75 minutes.

Q. How does this affect consultations?

Where possible consultations will take place online.

More information about contacting me and the arrangements for discovery chats and consultations can be found on my Contact Me  page.
